FAQs

Pro Integration Future Europe is a trade event dedicated to anyone who works in the professional AV, lighting, immersive technologies or systems integration industry - from manufacturers, distributors, installers, integrators, consultants and end users. Entry is free of charge. 

Pro Integration Future Europe is an industry-only event and is NOT open to the general public. Attendees under the age of 16 will not be admitted. The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry.

Once you have registered for your free pass, you will be sent an email confirming your registration that includes your barcode and visitor registration number. You can bring that with you to the venue to have your badge printed on arrival.

Not a problem - just head to the registration desk situated at the main entrances at the halls. Our staff will then locate your details on our database and issue you with your visitor badge.

Yes, if you have not pre-registered, you can register on arrival. It is far easier to pre-register in advance - you will be emailed your barcode ahead of time, which will save you from queueing to complete your full registration upon arrival.

As Pro Integration Future Europe is a trade event, children under the age of 16 years are not permitted. There are NO creche or childminding facilities at the venue so please DO NOT bring children or babies.

The venue is suitable for wheelchair access. There is disabled car parking opposite the hall entrance near Hall 5 and you must display a blue badge to park in this area. For more information about disabled access, please view the  NEC website.

Students aged 16+ will be allowed to enter the exhibition with prior permission from the organiser and as a chaperoned group. Students under the age of 16 years are not permitted. Please email nstovell@nineteengroup.com if you wish to bring a student group.

There is a cloakroom adjacent to Hall 5. Visitors can store bags, coats and luggage for £1 per item per day. Overnight storage is not available.

There are restaurants and coffee carts open during the shows within the halls. In addition, the Piazza area outside Halls 4 and 5 offer several restaurants and snack outlets.

Cash points (with a charge payable) are available outside the halls.

There is a newsagent in the Piazza, between Hall 5 and Hall 4. 

Visitors to the NEC can connect to free wifi across the venue, enabling them to stay connected to their home, office and social media networks whilst at the shows.

The NEC has a Multi-Faith Prayer Room available for prayer, reflection or meditation - located in the Piazza (Halls 1-5) next to the chaplaincy office (by Subway). It has a washing facility, prayer mats, holy books and other resources for prayer which have been donated by representatives of local faiths.

We do not provide Visa letters to visitors to the events. 

A Visa Support Letter will ONLY be issued to SPEAKERS and EXHIBITORS who have been invited by Professional Future Europe, or who have paid their exhibition registration fee in full.

If you need a visa to attend Pro Integration Future Europe, it is essential that you begin the application process as soon as possible in order for you obtain your visa in time for the show or registration deadline.

You must submit your own application to the relevant authority and follow up accordingly. Pro Integration Future Europe are unable to follow up on your application on your behalf or enter into direct correspondence with consulates.

Once we have confirmed receipt of payment from the proposed attendee, we will need the full name, nationality, passport number, expiry date and date of birth for the attendee, only then can we issue a Visa Support Letter. The Visa Support Letter will confirm the event title, date and location. It will also confirm whether the individual is a speaker or exhibitor. It will not imply any undertaking to provide funding nor act as a financial guarantee for your stay in the UK. Pro Integration Future Europe reserve the right not to issue a Visa Support Letter in certain cases even if the above conditions have been met. Exhibition Fees will not be refunded in the case of a Visa not being obtained.

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION

The NEC is in the perfect location for car travel - 8 miles east of Birmingham city centre, and at the heart of the UK motorway network. The postcode is B40 1NT.

Follow the electronic signage or directions to the East Car Park area for Pro Integration Future Europe. Once you’ve parked, you can either take a free shuttle bus or walk to the hall following the signposts.

If you’re using a sat-nav system, please enter the postcode B40 1NT to pinpoint The NEC. Please be aware that the Sat Nav system will not direct you to the onsite car park but just to the NEC site, please follow the clearly signposted directions for Pro Integration Future Europe once in the venue grounds.

The NEC is right next to Birmingham International rail station. You can get to Halls 4 and 5 quickly and conveniently, without having to step outside!  The NEC entrance is on the right-hand side as you exit the station, and is clearly signposted.

Many services run direct to Birmingham International. If yours doesn’t, you can catch a connecting train at Birmingham New Street. There are regular services, and the journey only takes 10-15 minutes. Buses to the NEC can be caught at Birmingham Moor Street and Solihull stations.  For further information call National Rail enquiries on 08457 484950 or view here

Coach services are operated by National Express and Megabus, with over 120 daily services from acorss the UK to Birmingham Airport.  From here you can get to the NEC in minutes on the free air-rail link. Regular local buses depart from Birmingham City Centre.  The 900 service runs every 15 mins during the day taking approximately 30 mins. The 97 service operates every 30 mins, 24hrs a day taking approximately 45 mins. Local bus services also run every 30 mins throughout the day to Solihull (service 966) and Coventry (service 900).

T.O.A black cabs are available at clearly marked ranks outside the NEC’s main entrances. They’re an easy and convenient way to get to your hotels and the towns and attractions around the NEC. The NEC is just minutes away from Birmingham Airport (BHX) – which is very handy for international visitors and those on UK internal flights.

Birmingham Airport is right on the NEC's doorstep - just take the free and fast air-rail link to Birmingham International Railway Station located at the upper level of Terminal 1. The train runs every two minutes and only takes 90 seconds. When you arrive just head straight through to the NEC.

If you are driving please access the NEC site by Gate 1 and you will be directed to the Disabled Parking opposite Hall 5.
