Rachel began her career as a Royal Air Force Engineering Officer. She then joined AV Mount Manufacturer UNICOL as marketing director for 25 years, involved in many product designs and major projects.
She served on the BSI steering committees for BS 8590, the Code of Practice for the installation of audiovisual equipment, published in 2014.
Rachel is a founding director of Navigate AV, a not-for-profit company providing career guidance in the AV Industry for teenagers and adults. She is an AV Awards Judge, member of the AV Cultural Forum, AVIXA UK Women’s Council and Diversity Council.
