Denise Hughes
Denise founded WoopJobs! in 2008 to bridge the gap in specialist AV recruitment. With over 25 years of industry experience, Denise has built a business driven by a "people-first" philosophy, focusing on cultural alignment.
She is the author of "Your Dream Job in Audiovisual" and the host of the podcast "Don’t Just Fall Into It," where she empowers professionals to navigate their careers with intention. Her extensive network and deep understanding of the AV landscape have made her a go-to partner for placing the industry’s top talent.
In 2023, Denise was a founding member of a group of peers in the AV industry investigating the need to provide career guidance to school leavers, apprentices and AV organisations. After much work, Navigate AV was formed and launched at ISE2026.
