Datagentism and the Reimagination of Storytelling in the AI Era
For years we’ve looked at data through a narrow lens: dashboards, reports, and backward-looking KPIs that describe what happened after it already mattered. That model made sense when data lived in silos and systems were too brittle to respond in real time. But now data lives in the cloud, and AI agents can actively reason over it, summarize it, simulate outcomes, and personalize it on demand.
This session introduces Datagentism: the shift from data as passive “information” to data as an interactive, agent-powered force that shapes environments and decisions in the moment. We will explore how this reframes storytelling with data, not as visualization, but as orchestration: agents that adapt meeting rooms, command centers, campuses, venues, and immersive experiences based on context, intent, and outcomes. For the AV integration world, this is a breakout moment. Integrators can move up the value chain from installing hardware to delivering living systems that sense, decide, and communicate, securely and responsibly, across every space they touch.
