Every Child Online is a UK-registered charity dedicated to tackling digital exclusion and promoting safe, confident participation in the digital world for children and young people. Our mission is to ensure that every child has equitable access to technology, essential digital skills, and an environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive online with confidence and safety.

In an era where connectivity is fundamental to education, wellbeing, and opportunity, far too many young people are held back by lack of access, devices, or the skills needed to navigate the online world securely. Every Child Online works to close this gap through device redistribution, digital skills support, online safety education, and by connecting communities with trusted resources and training.

What We Do

• Device donation & refurbishment: We collect unused technology, securely wipe and refurbish devices, and distribute them to children, families, schools, and community partners who need them most.
• Digital inclusion outreach: Through events, partnerships and community programmes, we support children, young people, and families to build confidence and access opportunities online.
• Online safety education: We deliver resources for children, parents, carers and educators to help prevent harm, reduce risk, and promote safe, smart technology use.
• Volunteer and skills pathways: We engage volunteers, students, and adults seeking their next steps into work, blending hands-on digital skills development with meaningful community impact.

Our Partnership Model

Every Child Online operates in partnership with public sector bodies, charities, voluntary organisations, education providers and responsible businesses. We combine grassroots delivery with professional IT asset management to ensure donated technology is reused sustainably and securely.

Impact & Reach

Over the years, Every Child Online has redistributed thousands of devices and supported children and families across communities, enabling access to remote learning, online support services, and digital citizenship tools. We have a strong presence in Essex and beyond, having donated to almost all Southend secondary schools and supported numerous local charities.
